EARNINGS REVIEW
CoreWeave 2026 Q2 — Operating improvement meets a rising interest burden
Historical earnings report · Management guidance reflects expectations at the time of the release, not subsequent outcomes. The financial comparison uses the site’s normalized dataset, including comparative figures restated in later filings.
The key is converting revenue of $2.575B into cash generation. Contract scale, active capacity, cash investment and net interest expense must be read together.
Assessment · Demand expansion is evident, but the ability to fund investment and financing costs conditions the investment case. Track active-power monetization, receivable collection, borrowing rates and maturities in subsequent quarters. This report does not estimate a price target or buying probability.
01 Revenue and business structure
Revenue grew about 112% year over year. The quarterly GAAP operating loss narrowed from $0.144B in Q1 to $0.049B, but net interest expense reached $0.640B, about 24.9% of revenue. The pace at which operating improvement reaches the bottom line needs separate monitoring.
02 Operating cash flow and capital investment
Quarterly OCF of $0.679B less cash CapEx of $6.422B produces analytical FCF of $-5.743B. This is not total equipment additions or the company’s accrual-based CapEx.
Customer prepayments can precede revenue recognition, while rising receivables can delay cash receipts. Positive OCF alone does not establish that capacity investment is self-funded.
03 Liquidity and financing costs
Quarter-end cash and cash equivalents were $5.524B and total liabilities $72.046B. Liabilities include deferred revenue, leases and payables and are not all interest-bearing borrowings. Quarterly net interest expense was $0.640B.
04 Backlog and conversion to revenue
Company revenue backlog was $104.2B versus SEC RPO of $103.7B. Backlog additionally includes estimates of future revenue under committed contracts. Do not add the measures or splice them into one growth series.
Revenue recognition depends on delivery and service-availability requirements. Backlog signals demand; conversion of contracted power to active capacity and customer revenue schedules signal execution.
05 Management commentary and outlook
The CEO highlighted improving operating leverage with scale. Adjusted operating income was $0.128B while GAAP operations remained loss-making. Large bond and convertible financings provide growth capital while retaining interest and dilution exposure.
This summarizes management’s explanation at the release date. Later contracts or capacity outcomes are not retroactively presented as earlier guidance, and unreviewed conference-call remarks are not quoted.
06 Investment assessment and next checks
Demand expansion is evident, but the ability to fund investment and financing costs conditions the investment case. Track active-power monetization, receivable collection, borrowing rates and maturities in subsequent quarters. This report does not estimate a price target or buying probability.

CY denotes the calendar quarter with the greatest overlap with the fiscal period. If the first period has no start date, 89 days before its end is used only for calendar mapping. Financial values are not recalculated into calendar quarters. Incomplete years show totals of included quarters; cash, liabilities, borrowings and net cash use the last period-end balance. QoQ and YoY show absolute changes; margin changes are percentage points. Dashes indicate missing evidence or incomparable periods or definitions. Total liabilities never substitute for borrowings.
Definitions and evidence coverage
A dash means unavailable or undisclosed, not zero. Company-defined FCF may differ from total operating cash flow less common-basis CapEx. Total liabilities are accounting liabilities, not interest-bearing debt.
Uses the release-date materials and later SEC comparative disclosures. Small differences can result from changes in rounding precision.
